TerraVida is a three-day immersive wellness festival located in Costa Rica that celebrates the connection between nature, ritual, and community. To enhance the festival experience, I have developed a comprehensive digital ecosystem that seamlessly integrates multiple platforms to serve both attendees and vendors.
The ecosystem consists of several key components. The central website serves as the primary hub for festival registration and storytelling, allowing participants to discover the festival's unique offerings. For vendors, a dedicated dashboard streamlines booth management, event scheduling, and sponsorship opportunities. Attendees can access a personalized mobile app that provides real-time schedules, interactive maps, and guided daily rituals. Additionally, the on-site MudLab Bar offers a unique experiential element, featuring custom skin analysis technology and personalized ritual care recommendations.
The entire experience is organized around five elemental categories—Earth & Body, Water & Flow, Fire & Energy, Air & Mind, and Rest & Reflect—each represented by a unique icon, color palette, and texture. These categories not only shape the visual language of the festival but also help guide users intuitively through content, events, and rituals. Whether navigating the app, exploring the website, or moving through the physical space, these elemental identities create a consistent and immersive journey that aligns with the festival’s holistic themes of balance, renewal, and sensory connection.
