Overview

This redesigned series of The Chronicles of Narnia reimagines the first three books by blending classic storytelling with a fresh, childlike sense of wonder. Each cover features a wraparound watercolor-style illustration, hand-rendered in Procreate using textured brushes inspired by traditional children's book art. The illustrations depict the very first scene in Narnia from each book—Lucy stepping into a snow-covered forest, the Pevensies arriving on a golden beach, and the majestic Dawn Treader setting sail—inviting readers to step into the world alongside the characters.
To contrast the soft, ethereal landscapes, a bold band wraps around the front cover of each book in deep hues of red, purple, and magenta—colors chosen to evoke a sense of royalty and reverence. On each band, a delicate gold line drawing depicts the portal that led to Narnia: the iconic wardrobe, a train puffing into the station, and a magical picture frame. This redesign balances nostalgia and elegance, celebrating the magic of childhood imagination while honoring the epic, enduring legacy of C.S. Lewis’s fantasy world.
